![]() EWS announced some significant enhancements to their BMT65 tool lineup. All BMT65 tools are now equipped with a new flexible coupling and EWS.Techline, aiming to boost performance and service life. The flexible coupling is designed to compensate for misalignment, allowing a maximum radial offset of 0.3 mm between the driven tool and the machine drive. Its mechanism operates similarly to the Oldham principle, with the coupling joint swiveling in one axis and sliding into the groove of the drive in the second plane. Additionally, an elastomer support ring is incorporated to reduce vibrations and noise, contributing to a more efficient and quieter operation.
